Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of hypnotherapy services by So Hypno. By booking an appointment or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Booking Appointments

Appointments may be booked:

Online via our booking system
By telephone
By email
Directly with So Hypno

Your appointment will only be confirmed once any required payment has been successfully received.

Free Consultation

We offer a complimentary consultation to discuss your goals and determine whether hypnotherapy is appropriate for your needs.

The consultation:

Does not constitute therapy or treatment.
Is intended for information and suitability only.
Does not create a therapeutic relationship.
Does not guarantee acceptance for treatment.

Initial Appointments

Before your first hypnotherapy session you will be required to:

Complete the online registration form.
Read and electronically sign the consent form.
Provide accurate and truthful information regarding your health and circumstances.

To allow sufficient time for review, your registration form should be completed no later than 48 hours before your appointment.

Failure to complete the required documentation may result in your appointment being postponed.

Payment

Payment for Initial Hypnotherapy Sessions and Follow-up Sessions is required at the time of booking.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
So Hypno does not store or have access to your full payment card details.
Prices are subject to change, although any changes will not affect appointments that have already been confirmed.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be treated as a missed appointment and no refund will be given.

Where exceptional circumstances apply, refunds or transfers may be offered at the discretion of So Hypno.

Late Arrival

If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may need to finish at the original scheduled time in order to avoid affecting subsequent appointments.

The full appointment fee will still apply.

Online Appointments

For video appointments, you are responsible for ensuring that you have:

A reliable internet connection.
A suitable device with camera and microphone.
A quiet, private and confidential environment.

If technical difficulties prevent the session from taking place, every reasonable effort will be made to rearrange the appointment.

Your Responsibilities

To achieve the best possible outcome from hypnotherapy, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information.
Inform So Hypno of any relevant changes to your health or medication.
Attend appointments on time.
Participate fully in the therapeutic process.
Follow any agreed recommendations between sessions where appropriate.

Suitability for Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is not suitable for every individual or every circumstance.

So Hypno reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment where it is considered inappropriate or where referral to another healthcare professional would be more suitable.

Medical Conditions

Hypnotherapy is complementary to, and not a replacement for, medical care.

Clients should continue to follow the advice of their GP, consultant or other healthcare professional.

Clients should never alter or stop prescribed medication without consulting the prescribing clinician.

Confidentiality

All information shared during therapy is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Confidentiality may only be broken where required by law or where there is a serious concern regarding your safety or the safety of another person.

Clinical Records

Client records, registration forms, consent forms and clinical notes are securely stored using WriteUpp.

Records are retained in accordance with professional, legal and insurance requirements.

Results

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process and individual outcomes vary.

Whilst many clients experience positive benefits, no guarantee can be made regarding the success or effectiveness of treatment.

Intellectual Property

All content published on the So Hypno website, including text, graphics, branding and images, remains the intellectual property of So Hypno unless otherwise stated.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, So Hypno shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or website.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on our website together with the effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
